The use of manufacturing aerospace composites is growing rapidly, led by major airframe manufactures for both commercial and military aviation. Advanced aerospace composites have gained wide acceptance to replace metal, primarily for weight reduction. Performace benefits of the use of composites include loweringfuel costs, increasing flight time, speed, and distance.
Composiflex is committed to meeting and exceeding customer quality standards and expectations. In order to achieve these goals, our Quality Management System conforms to AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015. Nadcap compliant critical process audits are an instrumental part of Composilfex’s Quality Assurance program.
Quality Control and Product Verification
Our quality department approves components and finished final products at designated steps in the production process. We maintain inspection records as part of our document control program. Our inspection equipment is subject to the calibration standards as required by our Quality Management System. Calibration equipment is traceable to NIST standards.
Composiflex’s quality department works hand-in-hand with our engineering group during both development of new products and revision of current products. We incorporate quality test and inspection requirements into our manufacturing processes from the design stage through final production.
