Tooling
Tooling is designed and manufactured “in-house” at Composiflex. We have all the manufacturing equipment typically required to produce our tools. However, we also have a team of qualified suppliers that can be leveraged for any lead time issues or for access to special machining and other process capabilities. Composiflex implements a tooling preventative maintenance program and maintains traceability utilizing engraved or stenciled identification.
We select tooling options based on your production quantity, lead time, product performance, and quality requirements.
Our tooling options include:
- Metal tools (both one-sided and matched die).
- Composite tools.
- Temporary tools for prototypes and short run product.
- A variety of fixtures for machining, bonding, assembly, and inspection.
