The GTxL(tm) GERBERcutter(r) is an automated, computer-controlled cutting system that replaces hand-held cutters, templates, and patterns.
Instead of patterns, this cutter uses computer data files called cut files or markers to guide its knife. These files are generated on marker making systems such as AccuMark(tm) or MicroMark(tm).
Computer-aided accuracy means accurate notches and pieces so that little time is wasted matching parts during sewing operations.
The GTxL cutter can cut up to 2.5cm (1 inch) of compressed fabric using reciprocating knife technology. A conveyorized cutting table efficiently transfers material from the spreading table to the cutter, and cut parts are moved to the bundling area. The GTxL cutter is ideal for small-lot orders.
Sophisticated sensing techniques control cutting speed for maximum quality and throughput. This results in more efficient nesting.
Consistently accurate cutting gives better material utilization and reduces the amount of re-cuts necessary.
The GTxL cutter operates using bit-feeding conveyorized technology.
Fabric lay advances are automatically determined. The user interface displays cutting parameters and markers as they're being cut. Cut paths are optimized, promoting the most efficient tooling in the least amount of time. An automatic knife sharpener helps maintain productivity while cutting.
